About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to oversee NEMBHARAT's daily operational workflows, ensuring our services — from driver management to fleet coordination and customer experience — run smoothly, efficiently, and in full compliance with standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee end-to-end operations including driver onboarding, fleet management, and service delivery
- Develop and implement operational SOPs, workflows, and quality standards
- Monitor daily KPIs — uptime, on-time performance, complaint resolution rates, and more
- Manage and lead operational teams across one or more cities
- Coordinate with vendors, partners, and fleet operators for seamless service delivery
- Handle escalations and resolve operational issues swiftly
- Analyse operational data to identify inefficiencies and drive improvements
- Ensure regulatory and safety compliance across all operational activities
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Business, Engineering, or related field
- 4–8 years of operations management experience, preferably in mobility, logistics, or transport
- Strong leadership and people management skills
- Data-driven decision making with proficiency in Excel, dashboards, or BI tools
- Excellent problem-solving ability and composure under pressure
- Strong vendor and stakeholder management experience
- Willingness to work flexible hours and be available for operational emergencies
