About the Role
NEMBHARAT is building the next generation of mobility technology for India and beyond. We are looking for a talented Application Developer to design, build, and maintain our digital products — from driver and passenger apps to enterprise dashboards and APIs that power our ecosystem.
You will work in a collaborative, agile environment with a team of talented engineers, designers, and product managers to ship high-quality software at pace.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain web and mobile applications using modern frameworks
- Write clean, scalable, and well-documented code
- Collaborate with UI/UX designers to implement pixel-perfect interfaces
- Integrate third-party APIs, payment gateways, and mapping services
- Conduct code reviews and ensure engineering best practices
- Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve production issues efficiently
- Participate in sprint planning, stand-ups, and agile ceremonies
- Contribute to architectural and technical decision-making
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- 2–6 years of software development experience
- Proficiency in at least one of: React Native, Flutter (mobile) or React/Vue/Angular (web)
- Strong knowledge of PHP/Laravel, Node.js, or Python for backend development
- Experience with REST APIs, databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL), and cloud services
- Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and agile methodologies
- Problem-solving mindset and strong attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with real-time applications (WebSockets, Firebase)
- Knowledge of AWS, GCP, or Azure cloud infrastructure
- Prior experience in mobility, logistics, or SaaS products
